Privacy notice for the free online course

Last updated: October 2026. This notice covers the free course Building a Safety Culture People Actually Believe In, run by Agora Training Centre.

1. Who we are and who to contact

Agora Training Centre is the controller of the personal data described here. Write to info@agoratrainingservices.com for any question, request or withdrawal.

2. What we collect and why

• Name and work email: to give you access, send your access link and issue your certificate.
• Company, role level, country, workforce size and sector: to understand who takes the course and to improve it.
• Mobile number: only if you tick the WhatsApp box, to send the messages you chose.
• Your progress, quiz and exam scores, and poll answers: to save your place, decide whether you pass and show how your confidence changed.
• Your activity answers (for example the free-text examples and your 90-day plan): to give you your results and plan. If you ticked the tailoring box, we also use them to tailor the follow-up you receive.
• Source and consent record: the link you came from, the wording version you saw, the date and time, and the state of each box.

Please do not enter names of people or confidential client information in any free-text box.

3. Legal basis

• Delivering the course and your certificate: our legitimate interest in providing the service you asked for.
• Marketing emails, WhatsApp messages and tailoring from your activity answers: your consent, given by ticking each box. Each box starts unticked.

4. Who receives your data

We use service providers to host the course and database and to send email. They process data only on our instructions. The sales team receives only contacts who opted in to marketing, with their course scores.

5. Transfers abroad

Our hosting and email providers may store data outside Bahrain and Saudi Arabia. Where that happens we require contractual safeguards that give your data a comparable level of protection.

6. How long we keep it

We keep registration records for 24 months after your last activity, then delete or anonymise them. We keep consent records for a further year as proof of consent.

7. Your rights

You can ask to see your data, correct it, delete it, object to a use of it, or withdraw any consent at any time. Use the link in any email, reply STOP on WhatsApp, or write to the address above. We remove you from all marketing within 24 hours of a withdrawal request. Withdrawing consent does not affect your certificate.

8. Complaints and breaches

If you are unhappy with how we handled your data, write to us first and we will respond. You may also complain to the data protection authority in your country. If a breach affects you, we will notify you and the authority within 72 hours.
